SBA Disaster Loans

Here is some additional information about Federal Disaster Recovery programs.
As we mentioned in our last post, there are SBA Disaster Loans available for both residential loss and for businesses due to damage resulting from the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, flooding and landslides on May 27 -29, 2019. Many businesses can apply for both physical and economic injury.
Two Business Recover Centers have been set up by the SBA and until further notice, they are in operation M-F from 8:00am to 5:00pm.  They are located at:
  • Montgomery County, the BRC is located at the Harrison Township Community Center on 5945 N. Dixie Drive in Dayton.
  • Greene County –  located at the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce on 3210 Beaver-Vu Drive in Beavercreek.
For those looking for residential disaster loans,  you must first register with FEMA. Business are not required to register with FEMA, but it is recommended.
The site to do that is DisasterAssistance.gov  or you can download the FEMA mobile app. If online or mobile access is unavailable, applicants should call the FEMA toll-free helpline at 800-621-3362. Those who use 711-Relay or Video Relay Services should call 800-621-3362.
